T-minus 8 days....and counting

It was many months ago that I set up this blog as a place to keep people apprised of our babies progress. Well, there is not much to report as we muscle through the weeks attending various doctor appointments and one thrilling baby class (I added excitement with my inability to handle seeing an epidural on TV).

However, we are in the stretch run and the baby could literally come any day now. Jen and I each have our guesses for the baby's weight and length but are interested to hear what everyone else thinks...so, jump to the message down below and comment on little "baby g"'s girth at birth!

A secondary guessing game, if people are so inclined, can be for the baby name (something that has been under tight wraps for the past 4 months). For anyone out there brave enough to wager a guess, the comment section is all yours....

Grothies,

Best of luck with next 10 days. My guess is Eric Meat Grothkopp. 8 lbs. 12 oz. We are about 8 weeks behind you. Best!

My guess: 22lbs,9oz (fyi, the largest baby ever born was in Italy, weighing in at 22lbs,8oz).

Your baby will have large hands, be built like a 'linebacker', and be able to drive a golf ball 300+ yards.

Name: Rainier or Arnold

I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 lbs 5 oz (just like his crazy "uncle" Chris!) He'll most likely have the looks of jen, but with an afro just like his dad, circa 1995.
He will henseforth be called Bill Bixby.
